In 2019 NUS Scotland successfully won £20 million to recruit 80 new mental health counsellors in colleges and universities.
Thanks to your campaigning there are now over 80 counsellors working in colleges and universities across Scotland.
But now the Scottish Government want to cut this funding and pass the buck back to institutions who are seeing their own budgets cut.
Study after study shows that student mental health is in crisis – now is not the time to remove this vital support.
