Ask the Scottish Government's Education Team to reinstate the promised £46million

The £46million for colleges and universities, announced in December 2022's budget, was not enough to keep our education system afloat in the cost-of-living crisis. Nevertheless, this funding is vital to the continuation of teaching, support services and staffing. For the Scottish Government to withdraw this funding from our colleges and universities completely, is unjustifiable.

The cost-of-living crisis is devastating students and staff. We need more funding, not more cuts.

Together we can hold the Scottish Government to account for its commitment to students and staff in further and higher education.
