Our colleges and universities provide essential learning, teaching, and research, which gives people access to the careers they dream of, and helps them to develop a love of learning. Yet, the Scottish Government has failed to act to protect our institutions from financial ruin. 

Some of our colleges and universities have cut courses, frozen staff recruitment, reduced teaching time and began looking at forced redundancies. When so many of our post-school educational institutions are facing these same decisions, this is a sign that the status quo isn't working.
